A day might not go by without Stew making one of his juices while listening to music that ranges in genre from 50’s rock to southern trap music . Brought up in the church, he’s been around music and instruments throughout his entire life. From Newark, California but with a southern style that originated from his time in Mississippi the versatility and culture he possesses can be heard in his music. With a raspy and distinct voice and a willingness to step outside the box, Stew brings a variety of sounds and feels to each track .  In his lyrics you hear him speaking of love, loyalty, family and the never give up mentality.  Making music with his childhood friend, known as The Gxxdfellas, with two different sounds they bring the perfect ONE TWO combo. Raised in Newark, California. EJ quickly made a name for himself within his community while playing basketball.
Whether at practice or games, EJ always had music playing and a ball in hand. Which later led to discovering his major passion for creating music. With the likings of many genres, the California native is very versatile when it comes to creating great music. EJ played and fell in love with basketball only to learn later in life that his true passion had always been music. Basketball allowed him to open his horizons. While traveling internationally he learned to see and experience different cultures. He learned that music has no language barrier, allowing him to express his life experiences through music. Inspirational artists such as Future and The Weeknd have contributed to EJ's style of music. Alongside EJ is Stew, his childhood friend, who shares the same passion and dedication for music. Today the two are known as The Gxxdfellas. Their goal is to connect with listeners with their unique style of music, and to create a stamp in the music industry.
